Bizarre Post-Op Side Effects!?
I have some hair issues. At first it was a different texture then it seemed to always look messy but now it is falling out. I was sleeved 12/26.

- All of my December sleevers...
Sleeved 12/26, down 47 lbs, 0.6 more lbs to be in onederland. I've had ups and downs the past 4 weeks...very frustrating but this past week I've been on the down. Hoping it continues. Doctors appointment tomorrow morning, I would love to only have to move the bottom weight to 150 (on a non digital scale) instead of starting on the 200 weight. Fingers crossed and water bottle in hand I'm hoping to be a permanent resident of onederland starting tomorrow. Then on to the next goal...175 by June 1st. Wishing y'all loss and happiness.- Challenge: 1st Day of Summer Weigh-In

Thanks....I am pleased thus far but excited to see what's next.- Addicted to carbs....
I'm 9 weeks post op, down 46 lbs but still want anything and everything white. Bread, crackers, potatoes, french fries, rice, etc. And I've tested my sleeve with these things and to be honest have gone over board at times. I dont think I will ever get over this addiction. Anyone found an amazing substitution for carbs yet? I've stopped buying bread and potatoes and that has helped but I want them so bad. I'm also fighting some massive stomach acid which makes me feel hungry even when I'm not. And eating carbs is the only thing that makes it subside. Protein shakes and liquids only make it worse. I'm already taking an Rx twice daily for acid but it doesn't seem to affect it. I feel lost and confused and I am so close to onderland but can't seem to actually get there. I float back and forth from 201-207. Damn those tasty carbs.- Before and After Pics

- Post-Op Diet calorie question
I do have a NUT that I am scheduled to see tomorrow. So I will get additional info there but sometimes I prefer the words from those who have experienced. We are each individuals therefore our diet plans, I would think, would also be individualized but I only received a handout that everyone else receives. Its kinda discouraging because you expect more from a professional but in all honesty I have learned more through forums, research and talking to athletes. So I am just trying to get opinions from those of us who have put in the time and work, after surgery, to verify my own thoughts and opinions. I think we, each as individuals, know our bodies better than anyone else.- Onederland
I am dreaming of Onederland myself.....at 205 I am so close but the scale just won't budge. I've increased my exercising hoping that by Valentine's Day I will give the gift of Loving Myself in Onederland.- Post-Op Diet calorie question
OK, so I have a calorie question..I am tracking my food daily on MyFitnessPal. I have set my daily goal to 600 calories. I was sleeved 12/26, so I am 6 weeks today. I have lost 42 lbs to date however I am experiencing some weight fluctuation. I am aware of the stall stages and that, I am sure, is part of it. But my question is...with a calorie goal of 600, is this goal BEFORE or AFTER exercise is factored in? I want to utilize my tool (sleeve) to its fullest and want to make sure I have my facts correct. Also, does anyone know any tips or tricks to avoid the stalls? I seem to get out of 1 for a couple days then another starts and I'm so freaked out that the weight will not continue to come off. I originally lost very quickly and the whole slowing down has made me a bit nervous. Please don't get me wrong, I am overjoyed of my loss within such a time frame but I just don't want to plateau and already be done. I still want another 45-48 lbs to go. Thanks in advance for your thoughts, opinions and ideas...they are all openly received.- All of my December sleevers...
