I understand what your saying, & ur right...there isn't a great deal of research yet. However, there is in gastric bypass & that's why we have the sleeve...cause they are trying to improve & reduce the risks. And...we KNOW our lives will be shortened & we will have complications if we do not change things & get to a healthy weight. At least that was my reasoning & I'm very glad I had the procedure.

Hmmm... I will have to check Kroger! Have you tried the Atkins frozen dinners? Walmart carries them, other store too...but their low carb too & delicious!

That's still amazing! Be glad you found out he's a looser!! You will find someone who deserves you & you will start your own family & because of what you've been thru & endured with yours....you will be an amazing mom! Keep strong!!

WOW! You've lost 142 lbs in a month?? That unbelievable! It sounds like you are doing amazing! It's OK to slip a little...just put it behind you & keep going!!

Went to the waterpark with my daughter & Grandkids & had a Blast!! It felt great to actually feel confident in a swimsuit in public, not worry that I was the largest person there & everyone was staring at me....& best of all...to be able to do the water slides without worrying about the weight limit!! I LOVE my sleeve!! :-D

I eat the steamed ones...when I can wrangle them away from my Grandkids! They r yummy!!

The pouch test is mostly for bypass patients...sleeves don't have pouch's

I'm sorry too! I think it's ridiculous...if we could loose weight on our own, we wouldn't NEED the surgery!! I'm glad I wasn't required to try! Heck...I couldn't have even survived to liquid diet the week before surgery most sleeves were required to do! Good luck & keep fighting!

Anything Atkins has to be yummy!! I take these for work, one lasts 2 meals & their always yummy!!

I had a similar realization. I was sitting with my legs crossed watching TV & scratched my upper leg & thought "wow, I can actually feel my muscle!" Then I realized....I'm Sitting with my LEGS CROSSED!!! Haven't been able to do that in years!! :-D

As I FINNALLY strolled into Onderland!!! Hurry....someone on the other side PLEASE barricade the exit door from that side....I don't ever want to get pushed out again!!!
