First Youtube Video! ...total NSV!

Recommended Posts

I just uploaded my first video! This was a huge NSV, as I hate having my photo taken or appearing on film.

It wasn't as bad as I expected, but I think I'll have to be better prepared next time.

Congrats on your first vid. I had thought about doing the same, since I got so much good info from other sleevers on Youtube. But so far, I am still recovering from the surgery/catching a cold and really don't feel up to it.

that's how I feel too. There were so many wonderful people sharing their experiences, so I thought I'd join them.

I'm doing good! I am starting to introduce some new things in my diet, sometimes those things don't sit so well in my tummy. When that happens i tough it out for a good hour or so and go back to my liquids. Although i usually start my day with a Protein Shake anyway just to make sure i get all my Protein in. I find it difficult to eat all of it. I always end up drinking about half of it if not more

I completely understand! I really should start out the day with a drink, but usually I take my pills with a cheese stick or some greek yogurt. I can never eat the whole serving of yogurt though. I've been transitioning to more normal foods, and found that I definitely can not tolerate beef or eggs. My stomach hates them!

I think this will all get better with time though!

You should post another video!

I just posted a second one today. This vlogging thing is kind of fun!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
