Hey everyone. Im super late for my period (im celibate, been for 18 months, deathly afraid of getting prego and a disease, im divorced)

Sleeved 11/19 down 22lbs from 212 to 190. Should have had it the tenth. Any other ladies with this issue?

Hey Sel! First, congrats on the awesome weight loss. I am sure you look fab! I'm down 19, but have 10 to go to "onederland". Can't wait to be where you are!

Anyway, I had the opposite problem - I got mine only 18 days after it came the first time that month. I've heard that the hormones are totally wacky after getting sleeved, so I am sure that has something to do with it. Maybe someone else can chime in on the lateness thing, but I am sure it's the hormones.

Yes,she is absolutely right. Our Hormone are in crazzzzzy mode right now so it is normal for there to be fluctuation in menses, That being said, good thing you are refraining from sex or at least using birth control because fertility shoots out of the roof after surgery :)

I had that same issue too. I was nearly 6 weeks out and no sign of my period. My surgeon told me to take a pregnancy test and if it was negative I could start my bc pills again. I didn't get my period until the end of that month at 9 weeks out! Without the pills I'm not sure when it would've come.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
