Starting My Journey

Recommended Posts

I am just starting my journey. I am ahead of the game they tell me since I have all my requirements met for the diet and exercise plan.

I go on Tuesday for all my measurements. I hope at that appointment I find out more information of what I need to do now.

I have struggled with weightloss for my whole life and hope this is what will finally help me loose the weight and keep it off.

I found out today that I have been approved by insurance e and I'm officially scheduled for surgery. Now just all the appts and more waiting.

UGH the waiting never seems to end. Oh well march 25th will be here before you know it.

Not really looking forward to a 2 week liquid diet beforehand though.

i remember hoping surgery was right around the corner lol. it will be the best decision you ever made. i too struggled with weight all my life and the sleeve was that push that really made a difference. the liquid part is rough but once you come out of it, you truely eat differently and the pounds fall off. sugar free popsicles are my best friends to this day.

You sound like me... It will change your life as long as you stick to the guidlines and rules..and remember this sleeve is just a tool to help you. You will still have to pay attention to what you eat and be active. Congrats and good luck :D

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
