I was sleeved November 1st- lost 26 llbs in two weeks...now I am stalling? Really? What a way to kill my momemtuum? I read a lot of different things about why people stall but usually it is a few months out? Could it be b/c I am not getting enough Protein? Would love to hear....thanks!

I am still pre-op, but I've read from tons of people on here that there is a stall in the 3rd week--I fully expect it. Another member on this site has a link to a webpage about this very thing and it's very informative, so here it is: http://www.dsfacts.c...r-plateau.html I hope it brings you insight and comfort.

If that link doesn't work, it's because it included the period at the end of my sentence in it. Just delete that and you'll see it. I'll also try to fix it.

I stalled at 2 weeks... then every 3 weeks after that... but then it would all sort itself out, and i would get on the scale and bam! 3-5 pounds off!

I stalled at two weeks and several times since. stalls are a normal part of the process. don't get frustrated.

Perfectly normal to stall at about 3 weeks out...don't panic! You will continue to lose weight & remember, you will hit stalls periodically....just breathe :)

Yes but when you say "stall often" how long is that? I am almost 6 weeks post op and except for the first 2 weeks I have stalled every 3 or 4 days. The scale will be lower one or two days in a row then the same for about 4 days. Frustrating.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
