Hate to say this, but I wear black all the time at my goal weight. Always said "If I every can get skinny I will shop at White House Black Market." Hmm, looking down I have on a top and pants of theirs. Now I just don't have to avoid those colors or even better, horizontal stripes or belts. Oh how I love my sleeve.

You are going to look great in everything, no matter what the color!

I was always secretly jealous of women who could "invest" in a few "signature" pieces of clothing. That high end jacket, or a really great skirt that goes with everything. Of course, they are the same size all of the time, which makes spending a little extra possible sine it will fit from year to year.

Instead I have just bought clothes to "get by" on. That makes up almost my entire wardrobe, even my nicer work clothes. Less expensive, sometimes cheap, lots of black, different sizes, some not very flattering but they fit at the time.

Marquel - You are going to have so much fun when you get ready to shop! What do you think your new favorite colors are going to be?

iegal - Exactly! Ann Taylor and White House, Black Market.

I love red but I'm hoping to have every color. I think black may always dominate but will definitely venture out. :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
