Oh Sel, I will pray for you. Pain is kinda bad here but I have Dilaudid to take the edge off. Works meh. The car ride home was awful due to bumps. Still have major gas pain and not really getting rid of it. One thing that does help is walking, but if you have a bit of a belly, make sure it is supported from underneath.

Check in tmro so we know how ur doing. I hear that things start to improve on the third day maybe that will be our day.

Surgery went well! Pain immediately controlled in the recovery room. Just a little aching belly and extremely sleepy. Going to have my upper GI in about an hour. Please pray my liquids go down and stay down.

Good Morning! I had my sleeve yesterday and really for the most part I am feeling great! I was in a TON of pain in recovery after waking up but they managed it well. Dilulad has been my best friend and I have been taking it every 4 hours. I was walking the second I got to my room from recovery and now I just waiting to take my leak test! Plan to discharge sometime today!

We must post after surgery so we will all know that each other are ok!!!!! It has been a journey but 48 hours to our new sexy life!

Hello everyone; couldn't checkin yesterday but I wanted to let everyone know that surgery went very well... virtually no pain after surgery ; just a couple gas pains here and there and just a little sore in the area where the drain is, but overall, I feel great! I pray everyone else is doing fine...please check in when you're able to!

Hey everyone! I was in no pain yesterday or today after surgery. The pain mess did their job until the car ride home. Since I've been home, I've experienced some pain and discomfort. The Gas-X strips helped a lot!

I hope tomorrow is better..... I get to start Protein Drinks tomorrow so hopefully I'll have more energy.

How's everyone doing this evening?

Still in the hospital because my heart rate is elevated....doc was all set to send we home then I got up to use the bathroom & it sky rocketed to 160. Pain has been minimal. Just gas pain from the air blown in during surgery. Started on Gas-X strips today to get things moving. Hoping to go home tomorrow.

I got home today!! I did spend an extra night in the hospital because they did the leak test so late and it really set me back. I was very happy with the extra night since I have 3 kids at home. Overall things are going great, except I am having a REALLY hard time drinking anything as it all hurts going down. Hopefully that will change soon as I really do not want to get dehydrated!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
