I've been on the Protein liquid diet since Oct 5th by choice. 2 shakes and 1 lean protein meat with non-starch veggies for dinner. I'm allowed oranges and veggies if I need a snack.

Congrats ladies!

November 19th for me too!!! I am down 8lbs so far on my pre-op!! Good luck to you!!

I have my VSG surgery on the 19th as well. Happy sleeve day ladies. It's great that we will have each other threw this journey, my question to anyone is about pre-op liquid diet, what all can we have and some of the things we should avoid?

Another November19th sleever here :)

Good luck to everyone, can't wait to follow everyone's progress!

Hey what all does your pre-op diet consist of so nervous and don't want to do the wrong things?

Ive been downing 70 grms protein, drinkinv about 64 ounces of water and i have two "meals" and two snacks. I like to make a boullion brpth boil it with fresh spinach, and i add an egg white for protein. I add scallions for flavor. If i need crunchy i eat raw carrots. For snacks i either have sugar free jello, cottage cheese with fruit or yogurt. Ive lost 5 lbs since last sunday. I did shred grilled chicken into my broths at times. Also found a liver detox tea that ive been drinking.

And i feel so good that all my november 19 girls are together in this. Good luck on your journey girls!

Hi all...November 19 here as well. I've been on my pre-op since last Monday...lost 6 lbs so far. Drinking a protein shake in the morning and broth or protein shake at lunch. I either eat 1/2 c of grapes as a snack or a sugar free jello; then a protein and vegetable for dinner. Excited but very nervous about the surgery, but I know I made the right decision. Everyone here in the forum have been very supportive! Thank you all!
