Depo-Estraidol Injections

Recommended Posts

Could my hormone injections cause my weight loss stall ? I am 4 weeks post op. I have read about the 3 week stall. I had surgery on Oct. 8 and I took my injection on Oct. 23 and have been stalled since then. I have lost about 20 pounds, but scales has not moved since injection. Very frustrated.

It can't make you stall but can increase your appetite. Keep an eye on your calorie intake.

I was sleeved 10/9 and yes I have been on the stall as well so I think is just part of the journey and I'm also on birth control so I guess we just have to keep doing the right thing and hopefully we will get out of this stall soon.

I never had weight problems UNTIL I got on depo and it made me gain 48 lbs and I only had 2 shots. It made me very hungry. Definitely watch your calories while on it. No one could pay me to ever get a depo shot. I always wonder what my weight would of been if I had never used it.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
