I was going to go with Dr. Garcia initially but Dr. Lopez was suggested due to my high BMI. And then Dr. Garcia and ALM parted ways, I believe?

I've heard good things about Dr. Garcia...

Thanks love!! I was initially considering Dr. Ismael Cabrera and his partner Dr. Louisiana Valenzuela. But after reading tons of reviews I am considering Dr. Fernando Garcia. When is your surgery?

What made you change your mind about dr. Cabrera?

I haven't totally changed my mind yet. I'm just considering all my options. With Dr.Cabrera he performs the surgery with Dr. Louisiana Valenzuela. They are kind of newer operating on US patients. I aren't as many reviews on them in comparison to other surgeons. However they are top rated surgeons in this field. It's about $200 more with Dr. Fernando Garcia. I haven't decided yet. I'm between the two.

I have liked Dr Garcia's Facebook page. It looks like he has started doing the single incision for the sleeve. You should check that out.

I love dr garcias fb page! he posts some great informative stuff as well as motivational things

For Dr Garcia there is a 5-night stay. One in a hotel, two in the hospital, then two more in the hotel.

The single incision is $1000 more.

Has anyone had the single incision sleeve?

Sade326,

I would verify with your coordinator. I'm going through Ready 4aChange, and their "Weight Loss Surgery Process" paperwork says : "Balance due payable to Ready 4aChange". That's only two words: Ready 4aChange.

Good luck...and be sure to keep us all up-to-date on your journey!! I'm scheduled for February 21st.
