Help, I Think I Eat To Much!

Recommended Posts

I got sLeeved oct 9th and I can eat up to 3 oz. Of salmon in one sitting. I have a problem slowing down, and really concentrating on the food. I wasn't starving. But my instructions are to begin eating soft mushy foods, 1 oz meat, 1 oz. Veggies, fruit.< /p>

Is it possible to eat that much in one sitting? I am doing pretty good about no liquids before or after and if I wait a bit, I actually feel full. I haven't thrown up at all, just worried!

I was sleeved Sept 6th, different foods I can eat more of especially softer type foods. I would make sure that I was getting enough protien in first before eating anything else. A typical day for me is

RTD shake for Breakfast

chicken noodle Soup for lunch w/o the noodle or chili or refired Beans

maybe a snack of cheese stick / or a prune / or grapes

2 oz of some type of meat for dinner and maybe a tblspoon of vegtables or sweet potatoe

this comes out to about 70 protien under 30 carbs and about 700 calories

also I bought these little 1/2 cup containers, so it really helps with Portion Control, fill the cup and never eat more than that if you can even eat that much. I also eat with a baby spoon and it really really helps .makes it seem like your eating allot more than you are and slows you down.

Ok I don't feel so bad. I drink a protien shake for Breakfast, i also have a cheesestick snack. Then for lunch, usually 1/2 cup or less of tuna salad (I should try more soups!). dinner I will have to lessen my portion of meat and add real veggies. I always have SF Popsicles and Jello for evening Snacks.< /p>

I also love the saltine crackers! I was wondering if I can try pita crackers or those Milton multigrain new baked crackers?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
