Does anyone have a glass of wine or a drink on a daily basis?

I've taken to a small glass at night that i enjoy after dinner. i drink about 2.5 oz. now that sounds small to you but I'm just picking it up again so I'm working on my lost palate. (It's homework...not indulgence) :P I was previously a two or three glass a day wine drinker (depending on if we had company) so this is a big change for me, but I enjoy the taste now and don't want to get toasted (I never did like that feeling). I want to see how I do up too a normal serving but I'm not there yet. I'm three weeks out from my second surgery and some ten weeks or so from my first (aug 23). I was very ill after surgery and aside from anesthesia I had little interest in anything else during the first month and a half so I can't tell you when a normal sleever feels comfy with a drink. Most docs say wait at least two months. Some torture their patients with a year! I feel it my duty to drink up some of the wine when DH opens it. I don't want the man to have to drink up the entire cellar himself :P (The sacrifices a wife makes...sheeesh)

I waited the 3 months my doc tells us to. Since then a "drink" happens when the urge strikes.

Sent from my mobile productivity killer.

Wine gives me gastritis, even now at 7.5 months out.

So even though I really would love a glass of red wine just every now and then,it is a no no for me.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
