I not buying any Halloween candy this year but will help pass out candy maybe at a friends house or go to a movie or something. The leftovers are dangerous so I plan to take them to the work community table Nov 1st.

What are your plans to combat Halloween treats?

We had a Halloween party last night that we had to bring a bag of candy to for tickets. I bought a bag that I do not like so I would stay away from it. The girls got lots of candy from the booths. I had my husband hide it so I would not be tempted. On Halloween, I think I am going to find a place (most dentists do this) where they will take the candy for a prize and they donate the candy to soldiers overseas or some other cause. That way we do not have lots left over at the house.

I'm buying them the day before Halloween and I think I'm going to buy a healthier option. They have pretzels, marshmellow packs, fruit chews, etc...all stuff I won't eat later.

I've decided I'm going to buy candy I don't like for trick or treaters LOL. I hate mike and ikes and those Mary Jane candies- this way no temptation what so ever lol

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
