I see that this doctor is popular......have there been any REAL problems with this doctor and the outcome of his operations ? Afraid of possible leaks...etc.? Anyone experience this...? I am desperate to lose the 100 pounds + of weight....

^{There are many people on this forum that have been to Dr. Alvarez. I was sleeved by him on August 2. he is an amazing surgeon. I had truly wonderful care at the hospital. My husband traveled with me and was very impressed with Dr. A and is staff. He speaks perfect English and will always get right back to you when you have a question or a problem. I can help you speak to many others that had surgery with him, if you want to PM me. He is more $ than the Dr's in TJ but I think he was worth every penny. It is very safe to cross the border at Piedras Negras and Rosie takes great care of you as she transports you to and from the hospital. I am doing great now and had basically no pain from the time I woke up from surgery. My surgery experience was truly great.
