I see that this doctor is popular......have there been any REAL problems with this doctor and the outcome of his operations ? Afraid of possible leaks...etc.? Anyone experience this...? I am desperate to lose the 100 pounds + of weight....

I went to DR Almanza in Tijuana and couldn't be happier with the out come 3 months later..never heard of GUillermo though, sorry

^{There are many people on this forum that have been to Dr. Alvarez. I was sleeved by him on August 2. he is an amazing surgeon. I had truly wonderful care at the hospital. My husband traveled with me and was very impressed with Dr. A and is staff. He speaks perfect English and will always get right back to you when you have a question or a problem. It is very safe to cross the border at Piedras Negras and Rosie takes great care of you as she transports you to and from the hospital. I am doing great now and had basically no pain from the time I woke up from surgery. My surgery experience was truly great.
