I can not eat much in the AM either but come evening I can eat much more. I dont think are stomach has the capacity to grow and shrink with in a day but have you considered your eating habits before the sleeve? I never ate in the morning and then I would be so famished by the evening I'd binge eat.Or maybe its just because in the morning we are more intune with our tummies? Not as many distractions as mid day and evening?

Absolutely. At five months out what I find most important is to have softer foods in the morning. Particularly during the early days if I ate something firm at Breakfast I couldn't get more than the tiniest bit in, and then never caught up my calories for the rest of the day.

When I wake up in the am I'm totally hungry - I think. Because I'm not yet sure the difference between hunger, thirst and gas ;p but when I try to eat my stomach won't let much in. I could only get down 1/3 of a hard boiled egg this morning. It gets better around lunchtime. So for me, yes it seems super-tight in the morning.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
