Stop Losing 2Nd Week......anyone Else?

Recommended Posts

I was sleeved Sept 17 and the scale stopped at 15lbs lost about 3 days ago. Has anyone else had this problem and if so what was the result. Im so upset about this but at the same time coming to a sad realization that without food I dont have much of a life. I had food when I was bored, sad, happy, mad, or just for something to do. I didnt realize how much food consumed my life until now. Tonight I plan on writing things down I can do that dont include food and try and integrate these things into my new life.

P.S. Thank goodness for this forum and all your support!

.

That sounds amazing to me. I'm not getting on scale until doctor visit. I refuse to purchase a scale. I was told to expect 1/2-1lb a day in the beginning .

Yes I was sleeved on the 19th same thing maybe still some Fluid retention I think each person is different and it's normal. Give it time and follow the program. I think we'll both be fine.

I'll be three weeks out on Tuesday and my scale stopped moving at 25lbs down a few days ago. I haven't been getting enough Water or Protein though so hopefully it picks up again in a few days.

The forums are riddled with posts about stalling around the two-week mark. Most are followed up a month or so later with "I lost a ton of weight" updates. Let your body adjust and don't panic! It's a marathon, not a sprint.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
