I'm curious. For those that have lost a bit of weight, did your feet shrink in shoe size? I. Wondering because mine got bigger through pregnancy, I'm wondering if they will go down with weight loss. I don't want to get shoes for the fall only to discover my feet are too small for the shoes/boots. :)

I only became a "wide" when I gained lots of weight. I'm back to regular even though I'm still quite overweight. Also I think I even went down a half size- back to my younger years- 8 1/2 wide to 8.

My surgery was July 16th & i hv lost weight in my feet. My shoes are loose! I had a pair of shoes tht were tight & hurt to wear but now I can wear them fine w no pain. So Yes your feet can loose weight.

I've lost weight (and gained it back) and the length didn't change but the width got smaller.

I'm only 11 days out and I've already noticed my feet look less "swollen". I cannot wait to be able to wear boots that go over my calves. I know I have a long way to go but just the thought that it could happen is amazing!

I haven't been able to wear knee high boots since I was in high school. Wouldn't that be fabulous!

I am really interested to see if my feet change after surgery. I like my feet now though, lol. I have 7 to 7 1/2 slightly wide feet.

Yes, your feet definitely change. I noticed my feet slimming down first, before anything else. I notice that my expensive Tevas are getting to the point of the strap running out of Velcro to attach it behind the heel. These are my favorites and cost almost 100 dollars. I wear them everywhere.and they are pretty comfy, even on long walks like 4 miles. Sigh, I will have to go buy a new smaller pair.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
