Recommended Posts

I am on meds to prevent gallbladder stones but the pills are HUGE! Hard to get down. Anyone else on these?

never heard of 'em! hope they work! :)

can you break them in half or something?.. if it's a solid pill, you can use a pill cutter & make it smaller & more manageable. :) if it's a capsule, then i'm sorry it's big. :(

Ursodial. They are huge capsules. Dr said reduces odds of stones by 30%. Take twice a day and they hurt going down. A real pain as they feel like they get stuck every time.

I am still doing chewable vits but thought about crushing regular ones into smoothy. When chewables gone I will try it.

Actigall is available as a capsule, and can be opened and dumped/mixed in unsweetened applesauce. I do this twice a day. The medicine doesn't affect the taste of the applesauce at all.

I'm also on the same pill. My Doctor won't let me swallow pills - I have to open them up and put them in pudding to take them.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
