I start my pre op liquid diet on weds...not too worried about that..I already have been doing the shakes for awhile...lost 20 lbs already..mostly from worrying! I am already preadmitted...just show up and get hooked to iv...and that's it...kind of exicted and scared at the same time!

My surgery is at 11:30 tomorrow. The countdown begins...

Wow I can't believe that after all those long months of pre op testing my day is finally here. Tomorrow @ 745 am. I can't wait. I am a little nervous and anxiety. For the past few days I haven't been able to even get my shakes and water in. I know I will definately have to work on that. Good luck tomorrow to all the sleevers being done tomorrow and I wish you all a speedy recovery! See you on the other side!

Ugh. I just drank the magnesium carbonate! Not fun. I've been dreading it all day but I know that this time tomorrow I will be sleeved! Surgery at 7:30 am!

I have to take 2 enemas but I don't think its as effective as drinking the magnesium carbonate. I might need to go make a run to Walmart

Wow.. I am lucky I guess... two days clear liquid ( I am starving by the way, ugh ) and one anti nausea pill three hours prior to surgery tomorrow afternoon... No enemas, laxatives, or magnesium whatever that is LOL

Surgery in the morning @ 7:30, wow can't believe the time has finally came... I didn't have to drink any of that-just did 2 weeks of pre-op liquid diet & I did good but all the sudden now the evening before I'm starving but this time tomorrow I'll be sleeved... Praying for nothing crazy to happen... Wishing everyone luck & Gods blessings on you tomorrow...

Good luck to all of you today! Here's to the first day of the rest of your lives! It's your new birthday!! :)

Surgery was yesterday. Removed band and revised to gastric seeve. Had to do a hernia/hole repair on my diaphram/esoghus. Sore but no real pain. horriable backache. Drinking Water since yesterday hoping to move to Protein later today. Dr said 2 to 4 weeks liquids because of higher risk of leak but 4 weeks is out of danger zone. Ohh and minimal scar tissue after 3 years out. He was impressed.

Nap time.
