Sleeved April 24th, down 60 lbs. I make so much noise after I drink something. It continues for like an hour. Does this happen to anyone else and did it happen to anyone and has now stopped? What can I do to minimize or just stop this?

Yes, mine did that for a while after surgery. It sounded like my stomach was having a conversation with itself. I think it lasted about a week for me.

Mine too!! Try being in a meeting at work everyone waiting for you to talk and the only one saying anything is my sleeved stomach. What is that all about? I have been hoping it will go away soon almost three months out. Very humbling experience. I went from the fat girl to the gas girl.....Who says God doesnt have a sense of humour? <_<

Im 4 weeks post-op. Sometimes my stomach does have its own conversation. & sometimes my throat argues w/it. The throat probably aggravates me most. I told its probably temporary, as the acid in my throat will eventually settle down, & I'll have more room in my stomach as there's less swelling & the scar tissue settles.

Mine does it all the time as well...I can't wait for it to stop. It is particularly embarrasing when its just two people in the room. I am always burping too and it is uncontrollable. I hope both end really soon!

Mine still happens too. I'm 5 weeks out. It doesn't really bother me too much and if someone does hear it I just laugh and play it off like oh geez there it goes again!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
