Dr. Oz On Tv Right Now Promoting Gastric Bipass Surgery

Recommended Posts

I think you may be jealous of his "not manly body". He is fit' date=' slim and eats right!! What we all should be doing.[/quote']

No- he has a little boy body or something's weird about him! :) I dont watch TV at all- and we were on vacation and he came on the TV- he bugged me the first minute- and I never watched again- he's weird IMO. :)

My kids swear he's a Vulcan. They say it's obvious with his very dry/ lack of humor and that he doesn't smile much. They also said his ears have a bit of a point. Ha!

But as for the topic of this post- I am glad he did a show for those of us with more than 15 pounds to lose. I'm not a fan of his because he seems to promote fads most of the time. Also, if we followed every weight loss tip he had, we would be taking thousands of $ in supplements a month and possibly even contradicting ourselves on a daily basis and maybe doing more harm than good.

I must confess. I am usually sucked in by this show. I consider myself pro-Dr. Oz. He covers some interesting material. Just my opinion :-)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
