I officially vomited before I finished my food. I am 2 months out and I have never fully vomited. I spit up and I get slimmies but today I full on barfed.

The only thing I have done differently today is skip lunch. I just forgot to eat lunch. When I came home, I had 2-3 oz of pork loin (very tender-I've ad it before) 1 oz cole slaw (also had it before). This is weird. I feel fine. Not sure if it was because I skipped lunch.

Anyone have any thoughts?

I'm over 2 months out and I had one ounce of chicken rolled with spinach and I'm about ready to do the same along with an ounce of cottage cheese. Every time I open my mouth my throat and stomach makes weird dinosaur noises and I wish I could throw up because I feel so bad. I ate about an ounce of cottage cheese for lunch today and I was hungry and not sure if I ate too fast or it was the Tomato sauce on the chicken.

I hope you feel better soon.

Hi Mina, I stopped eating cottage cheese because whenever I had it for lunch, I felt extremely hungry before dinner.

As for the barfing, I might have ate too fast because I had skipped lunch and I must have been starving! I don't get the hunger feeling anymore so maybe my body was reacting to my hunger.

Thanks for responding Mina! :) I hope you feel better too.

Crafty I hope you are feeling better today. I felt so bad and didn't think I could handle it much longer and I went for a long walk and I got home and felt better.

It almost felt like my food was between the opening of my stomach to my throat, like it was all piled up there, and yet my stomach was filled. I got home in the nick of time and went big potty and I felt so much better. I took the omaprazole, before bed and today I will be more careful chewing and watch what I eat.

Yes Mina I did feel better, Thanks!

As for food being stuck, I feel the same, like the food is stuck in my esophagus! It only happens when I eat dinner with my family. I think I try to keep up with them and I always make myself feel sick.

I am glad to hear you are feeling better! I guess walking is the remedy :P

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
