Purchased the Celebrate Vitamins. The Calcium plus is the size of a quarter. 3 r to be taken. I also r taking the multi-Vit & Iron. That's a total of 6 chewable tablets. I know not to take the Calcium seperate. The problem I am having I am 14 days post opt. The Vitamins taste like a sweet tart, not bad but they made me nausea. I even take them seperate. Does any one have a chewable Vit smaller than these or any idea. Maybe as I become more post opt it will get better.

I use Flintstones Complete (at my surgeon's recommendation). I take them twice a day (1 morning, 1 evening). Multi-vitamins should be taken apart from your Calcium supplement...at least 2 hours before or after, and the Calcium tablets should be taken at least 2 hours apart. (The Iron in the Multi-Vitamin will interfere with the absorption of the calcium.) In addition to these two (and I do use the Celebrate Calcium PLUS 500 chewables), I take a Celebrate sublingual Vitamin B12 (every morning), Actigall (morning and evening, to reduce the risk of gallstones), liquid Zantac (morning and evening), and a dissolvable Prevacid (every evening). I have reminders set on my iPhone, to ensure I take everything at the right times...and I always take calcium with me, if I'm going to be away from the house during the day. :)

I too got nauseous and actually sick once when I started taking a multi a few weeks after surgery. I used Bariatric Advantage and the pills are about the same size as Celebrate. I ended up trying to eat half the Vitamin at a time and it helped with the nausea but even now if I take those vitamins whole it can make me feel queasy. I switched to Celebrate multi and Iron tablets and I do better with those. So, the vitamins could go down easier as you get more post-op weeks under-your-belt or maybe they will continue not to agree with you as in my case. You may want to try other flavors too as that may make a difference in how they go down.

I take Celebrate pre and post VSG. It makes me feel a little sick sometimes as well. I noticed the "cherry tart" was worse 4 me. So I recommend trying other flavors. I also eat small bites of it and chew real well b4 taking another bite. Not sure if that helps but mentally it helps me. (LOL)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
