Gs Weight Loss And Tattoos....

Recommended Posts

Made you look with that topic didn't I.

So, I am in the very beginning stages with getting the GS.

I am also in the very beginning stages of getting my very first tattoo. Working on the Artwork now.

For those with Tattoos.

What happened to the Tattoo with all the weight loss.

Do the tattoos still look good.

Are they wrinkled.

Tattoo will be on my lower leg and Im thinking will happen before the weight loss.

Any thoughts,

IMABear

I have the whole side of my calf done along with a half sleeve and others. I've thought about the same thing. But I'm not really worried. I have those awful arms that are just going to get worse and the weight leaves. But still not concerned. As for my leg I really think its going to look fine. As a matter of fact even during the loss I am planning on working on the other side. I know this isn't really helpful since I'm only 1/3 of the way to goal, but I still thought I would share.

Most of my tattoos are in places that will not stretch/change much with time. I do have one on my lower back that's stretched as I gained weight. It needs to be touched up a little, but it's not awful. Depending on where you get it on your calf, it may not really change a lot. I guess I'm of the opinion that I can always have it touched up, not a big deal to me.

I have 11 in random places. I haven't had any shrink or look funny and I've dropped close to 100. But the one on my right ankle did move forward a half inch. It now looks off center.

It's really going to depend on where you are putting it and how much you are likely to lose in that area.

Just an FYI. Don't get your tattoo too close to your surgery date. Your body needs to heal (from the tattoo and the surgery) and you need all of your body's resources concentrated on healing the surgery.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
