Goodbye posts

Recommended Posts

I think it just comes down to personallity. For a lot of the people who leave and have been in a community for a long period they may have too many acquaintences to contact them individually.

Text and tone is difficult to read in text, and what might be just a cheery informative message and a wave goodbye, can be seen as a snotty "I'm taking my ball and going home".

I have no doubt that LBT gets back on a fully even keel and continues to provide the support it always has.

Let me give you a little bit of irony. I don't like posts about the practice of posting goodbye notes, any more than I like the goodbye posts themselves.

Confused? I am! :puke:

And then there are people like me. I remember once when I left a board and didn't leave a "Good-Bye all" thread. I came back a few weeks later to lurk and found out that they were still hung over from the celebration they had when they figured out that I was gone.

Here's an issue, I don't like posts that tell people what they should and shouldn't post but by stating that I am, in essence breaking my own rule.

Oh well I guess I must be a hypocrite

I don't like poverty but the other day I was in a major American city and the highway I was on went directly through a run down area, I wish they wouldn't build highways that travel through impoverished communities.

I just don't want to see it!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
