hooray! positive thoughts :)

Hey- does anyone know the type of lip balm people are recommending? I'm trying to create my list- oh and the mouth spray that helps with dry mouth?

Biotene is the mouth spray -- hadn't heard any specific lip balm recommendations, though.

Good luck, Patrick!!

Well, surgery was Thursday at 730am. I was in there longer than expected because the Dr discovered a hiatal hernia that he had to deal with first. But everything worked out OK. I was cruising up and down the halls at 1 pm the same day and ended up being discharged at 6 pm on day 2. It is now Saturday morning. I still feel a bit bloated and swollen. It is difficult to sleep for the time being.

I feel stuffed! Lol.

PRL, it sounds like we had surgery just about at the same time =) I'm glad to hear that you're doing well. Are you getting in your fluids okay and everything? I finally got myself down a bit of strained cream of chicken Soup and I'm feeling a bit better. But BLOATED! =p

I was sleeved on the 24th, and this morning feel MUCH less bloated. Pretty comfortable, actually.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
