I'm 6 days out and I keep getting these feeling of it feels like indigestion in midsection like I've swallowed something too big although I'm only on liquids. Is this a form of gas or reflux (can you get reflux from liquids). I've only been having popsciles broth Water and apple juice. It happens about 10 times an hour just a passing of about 3 seconds of pain in my middle, not my back or sides. Is anyone familiar with this feeling? Any advice?

To sleevers answering her post. Does this go away with time? I'm pre surgery and I hope this will pass in time.

Burping, belching, feeling bloated, passing gas all normal and will eventually subside ...walking really helps so you can pass the gas

It does get better over time. This is most likely acid reflex and/or gas. Are you taking a PPI? (omeprazole, nexium, tagamet, mylanta?) Hang in there and eat slowly taking very small infant size bits. :)

I fit what I think it is, once i burped I was fine...also I dissolved tums sugar free tabs successfully after about 2 weeks out, and before that tums strips. It helped, but you will still feel it for awhile - going by my experiences.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
