When Does The Pain Of Drinking Liquids Go Away?

I am sure this has been asked but I am going to ask anyways.......How long before the pain subsides when drinking liquids? I feel like it is getting better a little each day, but there were moments today that it just down right hurt. a little sip could cause so much pain???????

I don't exactly remember but I was back to small gulps last week at 4 weeks postop so I know it doesn't last long. I hope it gets better for you soon.

Wow, what a difference a day makes. Today is much better. I have been sipping on a protein shake for an hour and a half. I think maybe I may be been taking too big of sips as well. So, backed off some. Baby sips and doing better. Yay!!!!!

Ugh i thought mine was never going to go away... but after about 4 - 4 1/2 weeks it finally went away.
