Official July Sleevers Postop Thread.

Recommended Posts

Well, the time has finally come. It is July and tomorrow at least 18 of us (I think) will be getting sleeved! viva la July 2nd! lol.

I saw a similar thread for June and thought this would be a good idea for support while in the hospital recovering.

I will be going in, in 28 hours to be exact. Then my life changes forever....I wish everyone the best of luck especially my independence day siblings all 28 or so of us being sleeved the first 4 days of July.

Good luck safe journeys if going to Mexico and I will see you on the losers bench where we will all be winners!

12 hours to go. Just drank my magnesium citrate... So if anyone feels a disturbance in the force, please excuse me lol.

Kinda worried ti take it. Never had laxative before, and especially a whole bottle.

Getting down to the wire never wanted to eat something more in my life not because I'm hungry but because it feels like I will never eat again or something.

Guess just panicking and freaking out, who wouldn't want the emotional comfort food can bring.

You will be able to eat again, one day :)

Right now keep focused on getting thinner and getting healthy. We are all here when you feel like you need support or need a friend that understands where you are at in life.

I am praying for you. Do not be afraid :)

Post when you feel like checking in to let us know you are up and that all is well.

((((HUGS))))

This us ungodly. Yes I watch greys anatomy and know surgeons work ungodly hours, but that is emergent care surgery.

Why would anyone chose 6am surgeries for pre scheduled...

I'm so not a morning person!

T minus 1h:30m till I have to be at hospital.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
