"new Rules Of Lifting For Women" Anyone Try It/have Experience?

Hey everyone :)

Have you heard of the book "New Rules of Lifting for Women"?? I want to add in weight training into my exercise routine. Right now i'm just doing cardio really, and a few machines (i don't know how to use them, so i've had to take a lot of time to learn each one). I heard about this program through MyFitnessPal and i'm curious to know if anyone here has experience with it?

I'm a bit nervous since it apparently uses free weights, but on the other hand following a program would be easier than "winging" it right?

Haven't heard of it, but I've done body for life. The eating plan is also great for us slivers (higher protein- lower carb- 5-6 meals a day) it's a cardio one day, weights the next. It was awsome!! My hubby and I are actually started again this week. Him for weight loss, me for support and definition : )

      April Surgery
      Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

      Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
