Still Suffering..and A Little Scared?!?! *bowel Issues*

Marty you are killing me over here, lol, especially your "Well Doc, I had a spot of coffee, with a little dash of Palmolive." lol. Funny. Has anyone tried apple juice? When my son was constipated apple juice was an option. Maybe you can find some unsweetened apple juice or baby apple juice and try that. I heard pear juice is good as well. Apples make me go to the bathroom fast, as well as bananas. I'm not post op yet, but by day ten I would hope you could have a banana, or maybe banana puree (baby food.) I'd suggest drinking more liquids. Hot liquids always got me going, and sometimes I would put a dash of cayenne pepper (definitely ask your doctor before trying the cayenne pepper.) Cayenne pepper is suppose to be different than black pepper because its not suppose to make your booty burn, however I have found if you use to much its possible. Good luck all.

about 10 prunes + 2 cups Water in small sauce pan boil until reduced by about half strain and drink while as hot as you can tolerate. DO NOT go far from home for a while ! Grandma used to put a little brandy in there too! She put brandy in everything though,my experience is it works fine with out it.

Shortly after my surgery, my NUt included fresh apple juice in my diet, and I am convinced that kept me regular, because when I didn't drink my juice, I had severe problems with Constipation. Now that I am allowed, I have half an apple, peeled, or some watermelon everyday( yes, I know it's high in carbs) and that helps.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
