Wowgurl! So far so good, almost 30 weeks pregnant and no weight gained, but the baby is growing,which is all I want! Congratulations on your pregnancy! Wishing you a happy and healthy 6 months!!!

I think maybe it's time for an update! The pregnancy is doing great. I am currently almost 24 weeks pregnant and the baby is growing on schedule! I have no complications because of the sleeve, only have to take some extra Vitamins because I can't eat as much. Even with 100lb lost I am still obese, so my surgeon, NUt and OB are all happy that's weight has stabilized, meaning no loss, but no gain either! In fact this pregnancy is a lot easier than my pre sleeve pregnancy! Even though this baby was only planned to happy a year after my sleeve surgery, we are very happy and feel very blessed that we have this incredible gift on the way! And for anyone wondering, we are having another gorgeous little girl!!!

Oooh, how I've missed you guys!! I have been visiting my mom in South Africa for a month!! Anyways, not a big loss, I think I weighed 196 at my last check in, and today, 193. But I really don't mind the slow loss, as I am 4 months pregnant. The biggest victory is though, that I have lost 100lbs since I started this journey!!!

Firstly, congratulations!!!!! So far, so good!! My doctor isn't worried at all, she did a whole batallion of blood and urine tests to check that my nutrient and Vitamin levels were ok, and then prescribed me a whole list of prenatal Vitamins to make sure my levels stay right. My doctor has experience with pregnancy post sleeve as she and my surgeon are at the same hospital, so I am really lucky! The only thing she said was that post sleeve babies tend to be smaller. On a personal side, I am almost 11 weeks pregnant and yet to have morning sickness ( don't know if it's got anything to do with the sleeve, but I am not complaining) Again, congratulations, relax and enjoy the pregnancy and drink lots and lots of water!!!

I had the Paraguard IUD too, got it about a year before my surgery. And was happy with the effect it had, except about 10 weeks ago, I got pregnant( not that I am complaining, always wanted a second child). My IUD had moved and wasn't effective anymore. According to my OB it moved because of all the weight I have lost.

I had an IUD, got it after my 2 year old was born. Had my sleeve in Feb 2012 and the IUD moved and I got pregnant (currently 10 weeks). My OB said it moved, because I lost so much weight (42kg). Luckily, the doc could remove it without hurting the baby and everything is going great!

Oh, it's me again, this is a first! Anyways, last week 207, this week 203 that's an awesome 4 pounds, woohoo!!!! Hopefully, if next week goes as well as this week, I will be in Onederland!!!!
