Today is exactly 2 months since my surgery. It was the best thing I've ever done!! I'm down 50 lbs total and 36 post surgery. Treated myself to a pedicure today because I was down about my divorce, there was a giant wall mirror. I have to say, today was the first day in a really long time I can remember thinking I look pretty good and not being ashamed of myself. I'm still 280, but at least that's not 330 anymore!!! And I'm starting to get quite a nice shape. Maybe happier days are coming.

happier days are coming.

suchaprettyface

good for you, rewarding yourself with a pedicure., you deserve it.

Two months post-op, losing 50 lbs down is terrific.. Even looking into a full length mirror is ane great NSV.

Things can get pretty rough in your personal life. Then dealing with your new sleeve and stress is very hard.

You know how wonderful the sleeve is, i'll keep forward to seeing less of you.

keep up the great work

chin up too

best

kathy

Happier days are definitely coming! Just imagine how stupid the ex is going to feel when he has to tell people that the gorgeous woman his buddies are ogling is his ex-wife. :)

I am waffling between 45-47 lbs loss since pre-preop and sx on 4/23. When I hit 50, I think I will also treat myself to a pedicure!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
