Vega Sport 25G Protein, 6G Carbs- Gluten Free, Dairy Free!

Recommended Posts

I just wanted to share a new Protein shake I found. I have celiac disease, so I needed to find one that was gluten free. I really don't like the chemical taste of most of the shakes, and sometimes they are way too sweet for me. The problem with the more natural and better tasting shakes was that they were either low in Protein or high in carbs. I am pre-surgery, but I am starting to introduce the foods (or liquids) that I will be eating so that it will be less of a shock when I have my sleeve. When I was in Whole Foods yesterday, I thought I would swing by the protein powders to see if there was anything new. To my surprise, I found Vega Sport! Tastes pretty good- better than most I have tried, it's organic, etc. The only downside is that they don't have it in ready to go cans. I put it in a shaker bottle with some Water.

For anyone looking for a more natural product, especially gluten or dairy free- you may want to try this! The also have some other products that I am looking at. Kinda pricey, compared to Pure Protein, but in line with the bariatric products.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
