Drinking too fast?

Recommended Posts

Ok, dumb question. I know that you can eat too fast, but can you drink to fast?

How much is too fast? If I am drinking quickly and I feel "full" from drinking is that too fast?

I am going under the assumption that its a liquid, you cant strech your pouch, but it doesnt "drain" out of your pouch as quick as I am used to drinking.

How much/quick do you drink?

IF I drink too fast it comes back up. I don't usually have to sip but I cannot chug anymore.

I don't know if it's bad or not, but I can and do chug-a-lug. I've always drank my Water this way so maybe it's easier for me to do post-band than for others. I started out slow though to test the waters (no pun intended) first!

I can not drink fast in the am, I can only sip and it has to be hott. If the liquid is cold and i sip or drink normal I will throw up. Around noon I can drink anything normally. I never drink fast, the one time that I did because I had been working out in over 100 degree weather, I threw up.

I am the same way, has to be a hot drink in the morning and then in the afternoon I can chug a lug Water, but have to sip anything else.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
