HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!

I'm not laughing AT you...I'm laughing WITH you, because I had AAALLLLLL those same feelings before surgery. I was a total FREAK!!! I look back at some of my old pre op posts on here and just laugh and laugh. It's a very hard, emo time. Roller coaster city, and people need to learn to back off when you're in a mood or they will get EATEN!!!! HAHAHAHA

Godspeed dear. I'll be praying for you....

Okay I really dont....but Ive just been so grouchy, moody, emotional lately. Ive taken two days off work because I cant even face people there right now. Ive been in a bad mood since last Friday. My surgery is scheduled for July 11th and I dont know if that has anything to do with it. My preop starts on Tuesday June 26th. I have so many things going through my head right now like;

-Im so fat right now

-I just wish July 11th would hurry up and come

-How will I make it through the Pre-op?

-Im so fat right now

-What if this surgery doesnt work for me?

-What if Im always going to be this size?

-How did I let it get to this point?

-Im so fat right now

-I hope I wake up

Just to name a few.

Honestly if it wasnt for futureskinnypants I probably would have cracked by now.

Did anyone else feel so blue immedialtey before the surgery?

lol aw girl! I couldn't find your post so i looked under your profile and saw " I hate everybody" and i said to myself.....yup thats definitely got to be her post from today!!!!

I think to some extent everyone feels that way before surgery. And, I know personally, since i found out i was having surgery i've been eating like a maniac b/c i know ill never ever be able to eat like this again. In return i've gained even more weight and i feel like a giant flabby blobber. I feel tired, and ....i hate everybody right now too :)

my bf asked me if i wanted to do something fun this weekend like go to the jersey shore. i told him no i just want to lay in bed! i don't want to see people, i dont want to look at people and honestly i don't even want to WALK!!!! i'm feeling lady. I feel like i need a nap every day. Maybe this is you too? I know you needed these 2 days off. You needed some mental rest :) But tomorrow its back to the grind. Don't forget how much your paying for that damn resort hotel :D

everything will be fine. We have an AMAZING doctor! HE has an amazing staff. Theres not a doubt in my mind that you, me, and all of our "crew" will be fine. I have all the faith in the world that this surgery will work for ALL of us. But, it is a tool. We have to learn to use that tool. And we will. Thats what effie (sp) is for. She will teach us. Someone wouldn't just hand you a circular saw and say "here go cut something"!!! We will learn and we're lucky enough to have awesome support on this forum. It's a godsend. AND....we have eachother!!!!!! I'm right behind you, sister!!! I will see you on August 4th and you'll already be down a ton of weight!!!

RELAX!!! :P I will be there when your laying in front of the fridge crying. I promise!!! Love ya girl!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
