Can feel the "old me" coming back and it feels amazing. Everyday I have more confidence than the day before. Family friends and coworkers are noticing my results and it is so rewarding! Im just in a really exciting place right now and I feel like I'm getting control of my life back. I am only 5 weeks post op do I know this is only the beginning but I'm down 26 pounds. 26 pounds that I will never see again!!!!! Being a sleevester was the best decision for me.

Well your happiness certainly shines through loud and clear!!!! It is awesome to read about how wonderful other sleevers are doing. My favorites are the posts like your's... the ones that are not about the numbers or the sizes (though, those rock too!). It's the ones about how we FEEL physically and emotionally and psychologically that make me truly smile and be so grateful to be able to know these people and experience it with them!

Thanks for sharing! Keep up that amazing attitude!

I love my skinniness now. I have so much more energy now. I really like it when my family notices that I've lost weight. ;)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
