Oh, alright. The surgeon was actually the one who brought it up to my husband.. He asked him if he wanted photos so he snapped away..

I work in the OR so I asked my friends to record the surgery for me. This is a picture of the removed part of the stomach on the right. The left is the staple line along the bougie inside.

I guess that is policy (SOP, whatever), but I cannot see why taking a picture of a dead organ could cause a liability issue.

I forgot to ask them to take a picture. I would have wanted an inside picture like amr got. Heck, I would want a video of the whole thing!
