Sleevers In Maintenance…..

Sleevers in maintenance…..

Any tips? This is the oddest place I have ever been. Not trying to lose weight (or knowing I need to try but am not trying) is a very odd place mentally. I am nervous about it. I have given myself the number of 170 pounds… If I go back above that EVER I need to alter what I am doing to get back to the 160’s again. Is that how maintenance works?? I need help from others in maintenance! Tips, stories, anything? Thanks!!!

I am not at my personal goal yet, but am with my Surgeon's goal. I do admire how you have reached your goal and also am worried about myself being at goal and letting my guard down, and then the weight gain begins. So for me, I suspect I will always have to watch what I'm eating. I'm also going to weight myself 2 times a week at least. I am curious to know how others are with maintenance.

Sleeve of Steel, you have done a great job and CONGRATS! You are very successful and will continue to be successful with maintenance. ;)

I'm 16 months post-op. I am 4 lbs under my weight "limit"--I have promised myself I will not weigh more than 140. I weigh myself every day and although I eat anything I want, mostly I want Protein, which helps! If I hit 139, I cut back a bit on calories and take more frequent walks. It's kind of a balancing act, but one I have seen my skinny friends do for years. Now it's my turn.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
