I just got approved for surgery on June 5th woohoo!!!!! It has been a rocky ride up until this point. Will be having my procedure at El camino hospital Sunnyvale, CA with Dr Feng! Would like to share my journey with others, to keep motivated and accountable...will also be doing YouTube vlogs to have a visual tracking....so are their any June sleevers out there?

Im doing self-pay since my insurance doesn't cover it, but now I'm wondering if I should ask my doctor to talk to them. Hi Julie! We are sleeve sisters! June 14 in VA! Lets travel this journey together. Wolfgirl on here is also june 14. Please keep reading this forum and u will be prepared. There is sooooo much info on here!! Congrats!

June 4th seems so soon! They told me to expect a mid June early July date but insurance came back with an approval in 3 days instead of weeks like we anticipated! I feel like everything has just fallen into place so it must be meant to be but I'm still nervous as all get out! I wish you all the best of luck! Let's keep each other updated on our progress! I have friends that support me but none are overweight so they really don't fully understand. I love this forum!!

So i started my preop diet, surgeon wanted me to start early coz I've gained weight...so been drinking protein shakes all day and I'm so sick of it already (this is day 4) so to switch it up a little I'm having spicy kimchi broth for dinner yumm!! It really hit the spot!
