  1. Too funny! I'm starting boot camp today too! I have only been losing about 2-3 lbs a month since November time to get it!! I also can't wait for the biggest loser to come back on this Sunday! Water is a big issue for me I have never reached my doctors daily goal even once! I'm ready to do this!
  2. Hey all I am a little over 6 months out was sleeved June 4th. I have lost 103 lbs. as of date. I know this is huge! No way I could have done this on my own. But I have only lost 3 lbs since election day. I'm gettin kind of bummed would really like to see onderland by new years. I am only 7 lbs away * sigh* my question I guess is this for all of you " old timers" does your body reach a set point and then slow down? I have been between 1000-1200 daily. I know I need to up my exercise too. Thinking about doing miss divas boot camp. Thoughts? Suggestions? Thanks in advance!

  6. Ok I'm in! SW=310 6/4/12 CW=210 Christmas goal weight 199 Planning on working my butt off and keeping my fingers crossed!!
  7. Looking fab!!
  8. I am not a doctor and you should always follow YOUR doctors advice. That being said I too had problems with "sips" I would sip too much air in while drinking out of a cup no matter how small my doctor said to try a straw. It worked wonders!! I would sip from a straw just enough liquid to fill the roof of my mouth and then swallow. Some doctors I read about on here advise against straws because of swallowing too much air but everyone is different so try a straw it couldn't be any worse than what your experiencing now. Good luck!!
  9. It's been a while since I've posted but I am 5 months and 2 days out and I hit 100 lbs down today so stoked! I love my sleeve! 10 more pounds til onederland! Here I come!!
  10. As f this morning I am 217! 10 pounds to go don't think I'll make it but I am pleased!
  11. Walmart! coupons.com also has 1.00 coupon if that's your thing you're allowed to print 2 good way to save some money to see if you like them first!
  12. I understand how you feel. I too had wls and no one had seemed to notice. I am now down 90 pounds and down 4-5 sizes and people are just now noticing and complementing me! So it does take a while but you will get there!
  13. Been a while since I've weighed in super busy around here plus I've been in a stall my first one since being sleeved 06/04 so I can't complain! Weigh in as of this am 225.5!
  14. A normal day in the life of my sleeve usually looks something like this. Breakfast: coffee with 2 tbs coffeemate creamer and 1 tbs unflavored whey protein Mid morning snack: string cheese or Greek yogurt sometimes nutrisystem protein pretzels Lunch: deli turkey meat and sliced tomato and a slice of 2% American cheese Dinner: usually whatever I cook for the family spaghetti sauce no noodles or green beans and a turkey burger no bun with some cheese and a-1 sauce or hot dogs no buns or just the taco meat and cheese. I always use extra lean beef or ground turkey. Snacks: depending on my protein levels for the day I will have a shake with 30 grams of protein and I will not lie I still occasionally have a coke my surgeon says its fine but everyone should follow their own surgeons instructions
  15. Thanks! It will come off for you too! The more you have to lose the faster it comes off in the beginning.
  16. Great idea! Especially if it would be family friendly meals!
  17. Yes this is total after surgery. I did not have a pre op diet.
  18. Let me know what you think after you check it out there are some good videos on you tube.
  19. Honestly I just followed the program! Early out ( like at 2 weeks) I went on a long vacation with all of my family so I didn't weigh during that time. When I came back home and got on the scale I had only lost like 4 pounds those 2 weeks so I guess I wasn't aware I was in a stall. I just try and hit my Water and Protein and live life! When I hit 60 lbs lost I did kinda stall for a week or so and someone said to me what did you do hit 60 pounds and quit? I was furious! It lit a fire under my behind and I joined the YMCA honestly I am doing things I never dreamed possible!! I did a 5 k last weekend and have been doing trx classes( thought I was going to die the day after my first class I was that sore! If you don't know what trx is check it out on YouTube) not only am I doing these things I LOVE it! I get terribly irritated if I miss a workout! But just believe in your sleeve! The weight will come off! I never thought I'd be living life the way I am now before my sleeve I just existed. You will break your stall soon enough and that weight will be melting off your body! Just keep on keeping on!
