  4. Well I made it through my first night. Upper GI scheduled for 8 AM then I will get my tray of clears. Hope I don't throw up!!
  5. My NUT says absolutely NO juices of any kind they are to high in sugar. She said if we want something like juice to use the oceanspray diet cranberry,cranapple,or crangrape.
  6. You will do great! I am less than 24 hrs out and feeling pretty good! I'll keep you in my prayers.
  7. Oh but I do have a question I know I need to be walk walk walking but how much?? Every hour or what? They wake me up around the clock every 4 hours to walk and do foot flex exercises do you guys think this is enough? TIA!

  10. Thanks! Not to sound cliche but it was very easy! Going to sleep was a breeze the anthestiaologist made me feel very comfortable. I told her to make sure I woke up but not during the procedure lol! But holy cow upon awaking the pain was intense!!! Not going to lie to you but I made it thru and it was just for a little while until they got my pain meds regulated( I have a high tolerance). After that they got me settled in my room and everything has been easy. I've had no problems walking and the only discomfort I have when I walk is this darn catheter, coughing isn't pleasant but nothing major. Hoping for no leaks when I have my test in the AM so I can have something to drink. JUST DO IT! You won't be sorry!
  11. It's official I'm sleeved! I'm in my room but I haven't started walking yet pain isn't too bad right now. I'll post more later!
  12. Getting ready to leave I have to be at the hospital at 10:00 surgery should be about noon but it is a 2 hour drive from home. Good luck and Godspeed everyone !!

  14. Thanks!! I am trying to power thru these clears! Just got back from my Fav Mexican restaurant (today is my nieces graduation) and I didn't eat a morsel! So proud if myself lol no way I could have done it without having my surgery coming up so the sleeve is already working for me lol!!!

  16. Krystina I am June the 4th today I started all clear liquids I'm allowed to have decaf but no creamer! I love my coffee but not black!! I had a cup of beef broth in my regular coffee mug this morning lol not the same but at least it was warm and seemed ti help!

  18. VeronicaH I am right there with you! My surgery is this Monday the 4th! I am apprehensive but I know I am making the right decision and for the most part I'm excited but sometimes the fear rears its ugly head! I have 2 days of clear liquids that I start tomorrow morning keep your fingers crossed for me! I will do the same for you!!

  20. I finished my preop labs and registration yesterday. Today they called to let me know my 8am surgery had to be moved up to 10 am I've waited this long though so 2 more hours shouldn't hurt!
