I would call your coordinator to find out what is going on. I can understand your frustration. Heck, I have my approval letter, BUT I'm STILL having to wait to schedule... SMH

What about going down there??....Its easier for them to dodge you over the phone and computer.

On a better note I heard that bcbs has the fastest approval time. Good luck.

Glad they finally have your info. Mine was submitted on a Thursday, and I was approved either Monday or Tuesday. Hopefully you will have your approval just as quickly. Good luck!

Long story but here's the short version. It took them 8 days to give a denial, then I had to submit more paperwork. After that it took 2 days to give an approval. So, it took 2 weeks in total. Don't get discouraged. Also, trust your coordinator they are working on your behalf. Without surgeries, they are unemployed so trust that they are trying hard to get your approval. Keep me posted. My date is the 7th.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
