  5. I'm 5 weeks out and went to have my blood work done today. I'm down 21 pounds and I feel good. I'm excited. I haven't been walking and exercising, but I'm going to start. I'm so excited and motivated. My starting BMI was 38 and I'm having great results. I love my sleeve.
  6. That is the best feeling. I remember when I got the call. I've been sleeved for a month and I don't regret a thing. I lost 11 lbs. the first week, and my BMI was 38. You're going to love it congrats.
  7. You guys rock. That is why I love this forum. I've really gotten some great info. Thanks everyone.
  8. I desperately want pineapple juice. Are there any restrictions on juice after 1 month post op.
  9. Wow. Sprite? I'm shocked that they gave you sprite in the hospital. At 2 weeks out, it would take all day to drink 4 ozs of anything. I'm 4 weeks out and I still can't drink 4 oz at one time. People are different. I'm sure that you're fine.
  10. Almost 1 month out and I feel great. I do have some nausea if I eat too fast. But, I've been great. I'm currently on a road trip with the hubby and children. I walk like normal and have more energy for my children. I lost 11 pounds in the first week and my starting BMI was 38. Only regret....not doing it sooner. Do your research and decide what's best for you, not on what others say. Best Wishes For You!
  11. I'm 9 days post op and I love this sleeve. I are a sugar free popscicle and a few sips of apple juice and I felt like i'd eaten Thanksgiving dinner. It's a great tool. Enjoy your journey, you'll be able to eat a variety of foods in no time. I lost 11 lbs in a week. I'm encouraged.
  12. The back pain sounds normal. I had it also. I went to the doctor yesterday for my one week post op visit and he said that it was fine. There may still be some gas trapped. Walk and take Mylanta chews. That should do the trick. Good luck.

  15. I got on the scale after going to the doctor one week post op, and I've lost a whopping 11 lbs in one week. I'm super happy and encouraged that I've made the right choice. Watch out world here I come.

  18. One week to the hour, post op and I'm feeling great. I've been feeling good since day 3. As soon as you can after surgery, walk, walk, walk to get rid of painful gas. It seems surreal, but I'm so happy for myself. I'm so happy with my decision. My underwear are already getting too big. I'm so excited about my future!!
  19. Thanks ladies, you all just made my day. I feel so much better. I'll keep you posted.
  20. My surgery is scheduled for June 7. I'm excited and nervous all rolled up into one. Did anyone else battle their nerves before surgery?
