I have tried really hard not to over eat..and now I know what it feels like when you do...its like I swallowed a rock and can't breathe..the pressure is awful...not feeling nauseated...just pressure.....Well sitting here writing this...I think my pouch just cleared..and the pressure is subsiding...live and learn..and I damned well won't do that again!

We've all been through it and, you're right, it's awful. That'll teach us to eat, huh?

You got that right! I ate my 1 1/2 oz of tuna and had some bits of fruit on the side...I knew I should have left that last bite in the bowl..I could have had it later..oh well..my RD said EVERYBODY will do it once and once is about all it will take...LOL!

Live and learn. Can't get much worse than that 'rock' feeling. When I did it, it felt more like a boulder!

tuna is the first thing I had trouble with. I've not had the courage to try it since that first time, probably three months ago! I do think it was an eating too fast & not chewing well enough for me but still... that feeling is hard to get past!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
