Had my post op appt yesterday and was cleared for full liquids and soft foods! I was down 21 lbs! I am thrilled! My blood transfusion complication numbers are almost back to normal as well. My husband and and I celebrated with 2 oz of lobster bisque! I have no regrets!

I'm 4/21/2012!

Dropped slightly more than 10lbs now.

I've been struggling, one day feeling good, the other feeling really weak...

Like today, was going to collapse while walking..

I really have no appetite to get any food in... :(

Cant find any buddy to meet up in Singapore.. Was hoping to get some support from this forum!

Cheers everyone!

I was sleeved on the 19th but won't know how much I have lost until the 30th. It has been a tough week and still sore.

Hi babypumas! I was sleeved on the 19th too. I'm feeling pretty good. It seems like one day you'll wake up and notice how good you feel. It just gets better and better each day. Hang in there! Keep up on your meds and keep resting.

Thanks, I am taking it one day at time and trying to rest as much as I can while the kids are in school but I am so glad I did this.

Welcome and congrats on your surgery. It is like that in the beginning. I feel like that sometimes, but less so now that I am almost one month. You really need to watch your Fluid intake. Make sure you are getting all of your Water. And take it easy. Take naps when you need to. It's major surgery, so it will take awhile. Good luck to you! Best wishes.

Congrats to everyone!!!! Hope everything is going good for everyone! :) I think things are slower than what I was expecting. I was sleeved on the 3rd & have lost 18.3 lbs. I am thankful for every pound, but it seems to be coming off slow.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
