Digital Scales Comparison

Recommended Posts

I am confused about the preciseness of digital scales. I did a side by side comparison with three scales. The Health-o-meter, Taylor, and Thinner where all placed on a flat level surface and calibrated as per manufacture instructions. All three gave different readings.

The Health-o-meter read 185.6 lbs., Thinner reading were 183.4, and Taylor displayed 181.2. I really like the Taylor because it always read the less weight. They all were within 5 lbs.

One point of note Thinner and Taylor are more sensitive as they indicate a change in Water weight, before and after bathroom visits.

Just wondering do anyone else notice the inconsistency in scales.

I have two digital scales, and they are pretty close to each other. The only difference is one is set to give weight and rounds to .5. The other is more accurate and rounds to .2.

Still, the two scales usually are similar readings given the difference I mentioned above. One might say I was 185.4 and the other 185.5 because of how they are set up to work.

My digital scale changes readings if I move it around on my tile floor! I hate that thing!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
