Congrats Danielle! I live in Northwest Ft. Worth (Keller)' date=' scheduled to have my surgery done by Dr. Stowers in Decatur. Been reading many success stories on here! Would be great to have several sleevers local :)[/quote']

Hi! I had my surgery on 3/29 in Decatur with Dr. Kim. Just a heads up, if you are at Wise Regional Medical Center you have to ASK for any pain killer stronger than Tylenol. I had a very rough first night and my nurse told me I couldn't have any more Tylenol for an hour. I then asked if I could have something stronger than Tylenol and they did give me the morphine. :-). The nurse told me I had to ask for it and have a high number on the pain scale. Once I had that I was MUCH better! :-). I liked the nurses and staff. They were very helpful.

Since I'm at Wise Regional, I'm glad to hear the staff is friendly and helpful! I can sure handle asking for drugs if I'm in pain. Surgery is next week (4/25). I'm nervous, excited and about to eat my arm from the liquid diet.. lol

I was sleeved on April 3rd by Dr. Nicholson. Down 25lbs so far. I live in Plano.

Awesome sharpone? Any problems? I was sleeved 4/25 and about the only problem I am having is getting dizzy sometimes during the day for a few hours. Not exactly sure what is causing it.

My only problems have been related to having surgery, not necessarily the sleeve itself. I have had pain in the left side, horribly. At week two, I was feeling better and overdid it planting flowers, resulting in major muscle pain and BURNING for 5 days! Other than the pain, I feel great. I love not longing for food as I did before.

Your dizziness could be pain meds, residual anesthesia etc. I do remember being light headed and weak for several days after surgery. I hope it gets better.

That isn't good to have pain in your side. Is it in the area of the incision? I am helping the dizziness continues to move on out of here :)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
